My name is David and I am a Lutheran pastor who enjoys sharing stories about his experiences in ministry. The characters included in stories found on this blog are fictional, but they are based on real encounters. In order to preserve confidentiality, the identities and personal traits of each character are simply figments of my imagination.
What I hope to accomplish through these pages on the web, is to share insights and experiences as I live them, and see them through my Lutheran lenses. I also hope to sprinkle in some good ole’ Lutheran teaching along the way, accompanied by traditional expressions of the Christian faith as I learned it from my pastors and teachers over time. I have been a member of the Lutheran Church all my life. Lutheranism is how I have experienced life in Christ’s church on earth, and Lutheranism is what makes sense to me.
I hope those who read my musings will find this blog to be a faithful reflection of one who is saved by God’s grace through faith in Christ Jesus. As my thoughts begin to make their way onto these pages, perhaps you will find something interesting. You might even find it within yourself to make a comment or two. In either case, I am glad that you have stumbled upon my little corner of the web, and hope that through the words on these pages God speaks to you a word of His grace.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!
